The Advocacy training was organized at Ambapua on 22-23/06/2014. In this training staff 10 and core parents 5 all together 15 members participated 1st day discussed about on process of advocacy, why need advocacy? And why should we adopt advocacy in our intervention activities.
Above these points are discussed with active participation of participants. They demand to Director LIPICA, tomorrow will go to Capital Bhubaneswar to grievance cell of chief minister and meet with commissioner of PWDS handover the demands.As per group decision on 23.06.14 15 members had gone to grievance cell of chief minister & met with Commissioner Handover the demand letter as follows
- Free supply of Digital Hearing aid
- Disable pension increased Rs.300 to 800
- Provide self employment kit to DYP
- Quality of hearing Aid supply through SSA
- Relief provides to below 18 years deaf children from C.M relief fund for Phailin cyclone affected.
