At the beginning of the year we have done revisiting home level assessment of children with the involvement of parents/ education supporters. The CBR workers visited to target children’s house discussed with parents & care givers about the education level of children and economic status of family. In this process collected information and prepared education plan as per the need. In this assessment parents/ education supporter aware on level and status of children and planned for required support service for enhance the education level of children.
Home Based Programme
Individual home based education service has been given to 71 children as per their IEP. Involvement of parent education supporters each CBR worker regular visited to children home and given support to children. The parent/ education supporters learnt better than previously teaching process for deaf children in absence of CBRW.
TLM Development
As per need developed TLM for home based programme. All CBR worker prepared TLMS with involvement of parents, collected materials from locality. Along with this TLMs are prepared the DCW Team during weekly meeting. TLMs like Flash Card, Number Card, Multiplication Chart, Family Chart, Calendar, Time Chart, Counting Materials, and story book etc. These materials are using during HBP. Teach to children & parents and govt. School teachers for its use.
