Revisiting of existing 50 DCYPs (Deaf Young people, Age -18-25) Assessment done by community organizer. In this assessment collected details information of DCY with discussed parents, Family Members about problems and needs of DYP. Prepared planning on development of function literacy and livelihood rehabilitation with involvement parents and community people in this programme the family members and community people realized the actually problems of DYP and their needs.
Vocational Training for DYP
LIPICA organized 2 batches vocational training on Tailoring, Food Processing, Mushroom Cultivation, Goat rearing and business for DYP. The first batch training was held on 20th August 2014 with 15 Participants and 2nd batch training was held on 15-16 December 2014 with 22 participants. The objective was building the Skill development of DYP on various trades on Income Generation Activities.
IGA Support
After vocational training LIPICA supported to 12 DYPs for Livelihood promotion through IGA in different trades. The details as follows:
