Women development is one of the major areas in all activities. The women participation in different program are more effective and successful. The long standing experience used tool for involvement of women PRI members in Panchayat Raj System under Belaguntha Block 3nos. of training conducted for PRI members 38 nos. women member participated actively. Women awareness camp from Ganjam and Gajapati Dist attended at NGO club Berhampur on Sensiting Rights, Health care, Migration and economic development for Nutrition, IYCF objective of Exclusive breast feeding intensively for use among the group. Small entrepreneurship make confidence to address emergency need of family. The existing 4510 nos. of SHGs continuing their program with linkage with line department.
- Holly Broom training organised Baniamari Tribal village and Sunaribada village of Patrapur Block yearly Rs. 4000/- profit per person.
- Tailoring unit manage by 7 member women continuously, daily Rs. 70/- income for each member.
- Rice mill has established before continuing at Khandagiri village. This is a well profited one per annum Rs. 80,000/- profit occurred for the family.
